Kate Belyayeva is a Junior Editor for the Cumberland Law Review. Kate graduated in May 2019 from Troy University with her B.S.B.A. in Public Accounting.
At Cumberland, Kate is a member of the National Trial Team and serves as a Judge Abraham Caruthers Legal Writing Fellow. She is also a member of the Judge James Edwin Horton Inn of Court, Career Development Advisory Board, Women in Law, International Law Society, and the Trial Advocacy Board.
Kate is a Jere F. White Fellow and has received a CALI Award for Civil Procedure II. She has also been named to the Dean’s List each semester the List has been released.
In her free time, Kate enjoys oil painting, hiking, and cooking international cuisine.
