Carson Smith

 

Writing Editor

Carson serves as a Writing Editor for Volume 51 of the Cumberland Law Review. Carson graduated from Auburn University in May of 2018. At Auburn, Carson earned her bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Leadership Studies and Political Science.

At Cumberland, Carson has served as the Treasurer for the Women in Law organization and was chosen to serve as a Caruthers Fellow. Carson is currently a member of the Alabama Student Bar Association and the Judge James Edwin Horton Inn of Court.

Carson placed first runner up in the 2019 Donworth Moot Court Competition and third runner up in the 1L 2019 Negotiation Competition. She has also been named to the Dean’s List each semester the List has been released.

In her free time, Carson is a traveling pageant hair and makeup artist. She also enjoys international travel and playing with her two dogs, Optimus and Chanel.
