Avery Burns serves as the Acquisitions Editor for Volume 51 of the Cumberland Law Review. Avery is a 2017 graduate of the University of Mississippi. There, she received her bachelor’s degree in Public Policy.
During her time at Cumberland, Avery has been involved with the Environmental Law Society and Women in Law. She was chosen as a Caruthers Fellow for the 2019-2020 academic year and is a pupil in the Judge James Edwin Horton Inn of Court. Avery has also been named to the Dean’s List each semester the List has been released.
Outside of classes, Avery enjoys playing with her dog, Rory, traveling, baking, and going to concerts.
