Meredith Smith Taylor serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Cumberland Law Review. She is a 2017 graduate of Auburn University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minor in Community and Civic Engagement. During her time at Auburn, Meredith received the “2017 Female Student Leader of the Year” award and “2017 SGA Cabinet Member of the Year” award for her role as the SGA Assistant Vice President for External Affairs.
Prior to law school, Meredith served as an AmeriCorps Member in Birmingham and the FocusFirst National Director with Impact America.
At Cumberland, Meredith previously served as the President of Cumberland Women in Law, Student Body Association 2L Representative, and the Assistant Director of the Donworth Moot Court Competition. She also received runner up for Best Oralist in the 2020 Donworth Moot Court Competition and has been named to the Dean’s List all semesters where released.
In her free time, Meredith enjoys wine tasting, baking, and spending time with her friends, family, and golden retriever, Brandy.
