Sarah Rawls serves as the Managing Editor for Volume 51 of the Cumberland Law Review. Sarah is a 2017 graduate of the University of Georgia. There, she received her bachelor’s degree in Real Estate with a minor in Communication Studies. Before beginning her law school career, Sarah was an analyst for a commercial real estate investment firm.
At Cumberland, Sarah serves as a Caruther’s Fellow and as a Cumberland School of Law Ambassador. She is involved in the ABA litigation section, Volunteer Lawyers Birmingham, and the Birmingham Bar Association. Sarah has also served as a judicial extern for The Honorable R. David Proctor, District Judge for the Northern District of Alabama.
Sarah has been named to the Dean’s List each semester the List was released. She was also honored with the Professionalism Award from the UGA Terry College of Business.
During her spare time, Sarah enjoys being involved in intramural soccer and running half marathon races. She also enjoys UGA football, yoga, and exploring the Birmingham food scene.
