Joseph "Britton" Johnson is a graduate of the University of Alabama. He earned his bachelors of science in business management in May 2021 and his master's in sports hospitality management in 2022. He was also o a member of the university's men's basketball team.

At Cumberland, Britton serves as an Admissions Ambassador, an Academic Success Advisor, and the Vice President of the Federalist Society. He was the winner of Cumberland's Parham H. Williams 1L Trial Competition. He received a CALI Scholar of Merit Award for Criminal Law and has been named to the dean's list each semester during his time in law school. Additionally, Britton is pursuing his Master of Arts in theological studies at Samford's Beeson School of Divinity through Cumberland's dual degree program.
In his free time, Britton enjoys watching and playing sports, studying theology, and spending time with friends.
