Rachel Shumaker Bragg graduated from Mississippi State University in 2021, where she double majored in Political Science and Communication/Public Relations.

At Cumberland, Rachel serves as the President of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and is a member of the Career Development Advisory Board. She also competed on one of Cumberland's national moot court teams and was a finalist in the intra-school Saad Advocacy Competition. Rachel has received CALI Scholar of Merit awards in Civil Procedure I, Civil Procedure II, Contracts I, Evidence, Real Property, and  Constitutional Law I and has been on the Dean's List each semester during her time at Cumberland.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys SEC football and baseball weekends, shopping for antique home finds, and traveling with her husband and golden retriever.
